How to Choose the Best Gifts For Travelers

Perfect Gifts For Travelers

We know how hard it is to find the best gifts for travelers, especially when you have friends that travel to all kinds of locations several times per year. Finding the perfect travel gift is something that can be extremely difficult, when you know that they’ve already gathered lots of cool things throughout their journeys.

So, what should you do?

First, you should start by thinking what type of traveler you’re dealing with. Is it a person that travels frequently? Is it someone that does traveling as a hobby? Is it adventure travel or is it for business purposes?

As soon as you determine the scope of the travels, you’re good to go! It’s easier to find the perfect travel gift if you already have an idea about the traveler or the scope of the travel.

Gifts for business travelers

If you have a friend that travels for business, then you should be thinking about something slightly formal. A gift that can help when participating to a meeting or business lunch would be appreciated.

With this in mind, we’ve asked our fellow business travelers to let us know what they would like to get. The answers were various, but there were some that were common:

Laptop/tablet case

When you know you’re attending meetings, you know that laptops are mandatory in almost all surroundings. So, if you have a friend that travels for business, that friend will, most likely, travel with his laptop everywhere.

Lucky for you, there are several laptop cases you can choose from: different designs, shapes and colors. Try not to choose something too flashy. Remember it’s for business!

Travel adaptors

If your friend does business travel, then he or she might be traveling to different areas of the world. That means different cultures and different habits. And different plug types. What can be more frustrating than not being able to plug your device in that socket? Especially when the battery is almost at the end.

A plug that connects the device bought from one country to the socket of another one, is one of the greatest inventions of all times! And most travelers will approve of this.

So, if your friend is someone that frequently travels to other parts of the world, an adaptor is something they might need.

Travel size toiletries

One of the most frustrating things when traveling is how much you have to carry. That big shampoo bottle. That perfume or bar of soap; sunscreen is also something that you might need. Night creams and day creams, plus many more!

What traveler doesn’t dream of packing small? Or smaller? If you have a friends that travel, then travel size toiletries are what they need! It doesn’t matter if it’s by place or by car, the time you spend packing your bags and saving space will get much better if you have travel size containers.

Small carrying case

One of the most common items that business travelers need is a small carrying case. It’s small, perfect for things that might get lost in the luggage.

Ever took forever to find something in your luggage? Like your headset, your phone charger, a clipper, beauty products or medical supplies? Well, that’s especially frustrating when you’re traveling for business purposes and you need to hurry up.

If you’re looking for something to gift your friend, try a small carrying case. I’m sure it will come in handy!

Travel umbrella

Too sunny, too hot? Or maybe it’s pouring outside and there’s a meeting waiting in 20 minutes. A travel umbrella can be a simple yet very useful accessory for someone who is a business traveler. If you’re looking for that gift that will be used again and again, easy to pack and will not take too much space, then this is the thing to go for!
